During the snow/ice storm on Wednesday, when school was canceled, I had no reason or want to go outside. All the cookies I had made the week before were gone, so I wanted to bake something else. I had overripe bananas in the freezer, so I figured I’d make banana bread. Then, I though of where to get the recipe from. I remembered I had this cookbook from my childhood:

So I decided to use it! I just had to turn to letter “Bb” to find the recipe, because “B” is for banana bread!

The only substitution I made was replace half the oil with apple sauce, and it turned out great! It looks weirdly shaped because I baked it in a silicone pan, which bulges at the sides when baked.
