Hey all,
I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July! I had such a great weekend, which despite attending a short class on Friday seemed like an entire week off from work. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle whatever comes my way, hoping that feeling last!
Ryan and I started off the long weekend Wednesday night with a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
We grabbed pizza to go and ate in Brooklyn Bridge Park. We were even able to enjoy a few pre-4th of July fireworks on the way back home.
On July 4th itself we started the day with a great 20 mile bike ride. The weather was just perfect early in the morning and it felt so great to just be up and about. We came home, refueled, showered, and put some food together to meet Crissy to lay about and watch fireworks!
The company was great, as were the fireworks, but I don’t know if I would do it again, let’s just say not having bathroom access for 6 hours is not so much fun.

On Friday I met Ryan at Central Park after my class for a picnic and then we headed over to Lincoln Center to listen to some music and some dancing with friends.
Saturday we biked to MOMA in an attempt to interact with their exhibit, Rain. Unfortunately even getting there at opening the wait was 7 hours! So we opted to just walk by, a wait time of only 35 minutes, so we could at least see other people walk through rain without getting wet-sensors keep the water from coming down. as people walk through. A cool concept and I’m glad we made it to the exhibit, but I don’t think it would have been worth the 7 hour wait.

Time for me to get some work done! Catch ya later.
